Chef Civan Er is showcasing his take on modern Turkish cuisine at his neighbourhood restaurant in Soho. Yeni's constantly changing menu is inspired by open fire cooking; and Civan applies the traditional cooking techniques perfected at his Yeni Lokanta in Istanbul to the finest British produce.
Set over two floors on Soho's Beak Street, Yeni is serving tasting and set menus* in the salon and à la carte sharing plates upstairs for dinner. Vegetarian, vegan and pescatarian options are available. Lunch menu is served in the salon.

house cured pastırma
Pastırma is a popular dried beef delicacy from Anatolia. Chef Civan is using authentic spices and methods from his homeland while curing his take of pastırma.
Chef-owner Civan Er was trained at Leith’s and began his professional journey in London. In 2013, he opened his first restaurant ‘Yeni Lokanta’ in Istanbul, which soon has been featured in discovery series of the 'world’s 50 best restaurants’. As being one of Istanbul’s most critically acclaimed chefs, he has been awarded as ‘Chef of the Year’ by GQ and Time Out magazines in 2014. Civan opened Yeni in January 2019.

Yeni's 1st floor offers a private setting of up to 35 guests. Exclusive hire of the restaurant up to 80 guests is also available for larger events.

Yeni applies NO SERVICE CHARGE on the menu prices.
Reservations are taken up to 60 days in advance and subject to a 'no-show & 24-hour cancellation' policy. A non-refundable charge is applied with no exceptions in the event of a no-show and late cancellation. Thank you for understanding.
We accept only credit card payments.
Table returns from the booking time are 2 hours (salon), 1.5 hours (upstairs) and 2.5 hours for salon groups of 5+. Tables are held for 15 minutes; please call or email if running late.
Maximum party size is 10 guests. Multiple table bookings for the same group are not honoured due to limited table configurations.
Seating requests: Tables are allocated by our online booking system on the day; specific table requests cannot be guaranteed.
Tasting and set menus are kindly asked to be ordered for the whole table and for each guest in the group.
Lunch tables of 8+ guests are kindly asked to choose between tasting and set menus.
Express lunch is served for groups of up to 4 guests from tuesdays to fridays till 1pm .
Restaurant closes at 3.45pm for dinner set-up.
Dinner service is suitable for children above the age of 12.
Well behaved dogs are welcome.
