open fire cooking & finest british produce / Chef- owner Civan Er is showcasing his take on modern Turkish cuisine at his neighbourhood restaurant in Soho. His constantly changing menu is inspired by open fire cooking. Civan applies the traditional techniques perfected at his Yeni Lokanta in Istanbul to the finest British produce in Soho.
chef-owner Civan Er was trained at Leith’s and began his professional journey in London. In 2013, he established his first restaurant ‘Yeni Lokanta’ in Istanbul, which soon has been featured in discovery series of the 'world’s 50 best restaurants’. As being one of the most critically acclaimed Istanbul chefs, he has been awarded as ‘chef of the year’ by GQ and Time Out magazines in 2014. Civan opened Yeni in Soho in January 2019.
reservations: we accept only on-line bookings and welcome walk-ins. largest party size is 10; and reservations are taken up to 60 days in advance with a 'no-show & 24 hours cancellation' policy.

note about our dinner service starting at 5.30pm: A la carte is served in the 1st floor for parties of up to 5 guests. We only serve daily changing chef's menu and tasting menus in the ground floor after 5.30pm. We welcome dinner groups of 6+ in the ground floor with chef's menu of the day and tasting menus.
large groups of 8 to 10 guests are accommodated with pre-paid group menus:

child policy: unfortunately, we are not able to accept babies and children under the age of 12 after 5pm.
cancellation policy:as an independent neighbourhood restaurant we severely suffer from late cancellations and no-shows. In the event of a no-show or a late cancellation made within 24 hours to the reservation time, a non-refundable fee is applied with no exceptions for bookings that require credit card details.
