Chef Civan Er is showcasing his take on modern Turkish cuisine at his neighbourhood restaurant in Soho. Yeni's constantly changing menu is inspired by open fire cooking and uses the finest British ingredients including cuts from organic Welsh lamb, line caught wild fish and fresh vegetables. Civan applies the traditional cooking techniques perfected at his  Yeni Lokanta  in Istanbul to the freshest seasonal produce from around the UK.

Yeni, Soho. / Set over two floors on Beak Street, just off Carnaby and Regent Street, Yeni is a laid-back spot with chef Civan Er’s Anatolian-inspired food created at his acclaimed sister restaurant Yeni Lokanta in Istanbul.

The food with vegetarian options is served in a sharing concept; the wine list is focused on smaller independent producers with natural wines.

For dinner slots starting from 15 November, a la carte sharing plates will only be served in "upstairs". Guests at "chef's salon" in the ground floor will be accommodated with tasting menus.

Pastırma is a popular dried beef delicacy from Anatolia. Chef Civan is using authentic spices and methods from his homeland while curing his take of pastırma.

Chef-owner Civan Er, who was trained as a chef at Leith’s, began his professional journey in London. In 2013, he opened his first restaurant ‘Yeni Lokanta’ in Istanbul, which soon has been featured in discovery series of the 'world’s 50 best restaurants’. As being one of Istanbul’s most critically acclaimed chefs, he has been awarded as ‘Chef of the Year’ by GQ and Time Out magazines in 2014. Civan opened his second restaurant ‘Yeni’ on Soho’s Beak Street in January 2019;  and he has been cooking for London foodies since then.

'upstairs dining room & bar' offers a private setting of up to 35 guests. Exclusive hire of the restaurant up to 80 guests is also available for larger events.

Yeni accepts ONLY ON-LINE bookings
with a 'no-show & late cancellation' policy.
Please read the notes below.

  • Yeni applies NO SERVICE CHARGE on the menu prices.

  • The restaurant accepts ONLY ON-LINE reservations and always welcome walk-ins depending on availability

  • Reservations are taken up to 45 days in advance and subject to 'no-show & 24-hour cancellation' policy.

  • There will be a non-refundable charge of £30 pp with no exceptions in the event of a no-show and late cancellation. Kindly read the details while booking and thank you for your understanding.

  • Dinner groups of 5+ and lunch groups of 8+ guests are accommodated with  '7 course group sharing menu' . Vegetarian and pescatarian options are available.

  • Maximum party size is 10 guests. Multiple table bookings for the same group unfortunately cannot be honoured. Please contact for private dining of larger groups.

  • Seating requests: Tables are allocated by our online booking system on the day. Although we'll do our best, we unfortunately cannot guarantee specific table or area requests.

  • Express lunch is served for parties of up to 4 guests from Tuesdays to Fridays between 12-1pm.

  • Please email for any reservation changes; we have limited phone access during service hours.

  • Only contactless and card payments are accepted.

  • Table return time is 2 hours from the booking time for groups of up to 4; and 2.5 hours for others.

  • Your table will be held for 15 minutes. Please email or call if running late.

  • Restaurant closes at 3.45pm for dinner set-up.

  • Well behaved dogs are welcome.

  • Dinner service is regrettably not suitable for children under the age of 7.
