open fire cooking & finest british produce  / chef- owner Civan Er is showcasing his take on modern Turkish cuisine at his neighbourhood restaurant in Soho. Our constantly changing menu is inspired by open fire; and Civan applies the traditional cooking techniques perfected at his Yeni Lokanta in Istanbul to the finest British produce.

chef-owner Civan Er was trained at Leith’s and began his professional journey in London. in 2013, he established his first restaurant ‘Yeni Lokanta’ in Istanbul, which soon has been featured in discovery series of the 'world’s 50 best restaurants’. as being one of the most critically acclaimed Istanbul chefs, he has been awarded as ‘chef of the year’ by GQ and Time Out magazines in 2014. Civan opened Yeni in Soho in January 2019.


ever changing seasonal menus  / our menus are constantly changing as we are committed to using the best seasonal produce around the uk. 'à la carte dinner' is served upstairs; and we offer only tasting and set menus of the day during the evening service in the salon (ground floor). tasting and set menus are offered with vegetarian, vegan and pescatarian options. lunch service is accommodated in the salon with à la carte, tasting and set menus.

kindly note tasting and set menus are to be ordered for the whole table and for each guest in the group.


reservations: we accept only on-line bookings and welcome walk-ins. kindly email here if needed. reservations are taken up to 60 days in advance and subject to a 'no-show & 24 hours cancellation' policy. please review the reservation guidelines and t&c here .

dinner service: guests in the salon are kindly asked to choose between tasting and set menus of the day during the evening service; chosen menu is to be ordered for each guest in the group. à la carte menu of the dinner is served only upstairs.

lunch service: à la carte menu of the lunch, tasting and set menus of the day are being served in the salon.


groups of 8 to 10 guests are accommodated with set menus for lunch and pre-paid tasting menus for dinner service. please email here if you need assistance about your booking. 

child policy: unfortunately, we are not able to accept babies and children under the age of 12 after 5pm.

cancellation policy:as an independent neighbourhood restaurant we severely suffer from late cancellations and no-shows. in the event of a no-show or a late cancellation made within 24 hours to the reservation time, a non-refundable fee is applied with no exceptions for bookings that require credit card details. kindly read the details here or while booking. thank you for your understanding.

lunch: 12 - 3.45 pm (last orders by 2.45 pm)

dinner: 5.30 - 11.30 pm (last orders by 10 pm)
