open fire cooking & finest british produce / chef- owner Civan Er is showcasing his take on modern turkish cuisine at his neighbourhood restaurant in soho. his food is inspried by open fire; and he applies the traditional techniques perfected at his restaurant in istanbul to the finest british produce.
Civan was trained at Leith’s and began his professional journey in london. he established his first restaurant ‘Yeni Lokanta’ in istanbul in 2013, which soon has been featured in discovery series of the 'world’s 50 best restaurants’. as being one of the most critically acclaimed istanbul chefs, he has been awarded as ‘chef of the year’ by GQ and Time Out magazines in 2014. he opened Yeni in soho in january 2019.
only on-line bookings are accepted and walk-ins are always welcome. largest party size is 7; and reservations are taken up to 60 days in advance with a 'no-show & 24 hours cancellation' policy.
