open fire cooking & finest british produce  / Chef- owner Civan Er is showcasing his take on modern Turkish cuisine at his neighbourhood restaurant in Soho. His food is inspried by open fire; and he applies the traditional techniques perfected at his restaurant in Istanbul to the finest British produce.

Civan was trained at Leith’s and began his professional journey in London. He established his first restaurant ‘Yeni Lokanta’ in Istanbul in 2013, which soon has been featured in discovery series of the 'world’s 50 best restaurants’. As being one of the most critically acclaimed Istanbul chefs, he has been awarded as ‘chef of the year’ by GQ and Time Out magazines in 2014. He opened Yeni in Soho in January 2019.

reservations

on-line bookings: We accept only on-line bookings, and walk-ins are always welcome. The largest party size that we are able to accommodate is 7 guests, and ​we take bookings up to 60 days in advance.

cancellation and no-show policy: In the event of cancellations and changes made within 24 hours to the reservation time and no-shows, a non-refundable fee will be applied.

child policy: Unfortunately, babies and children under the age of 12 are not accepted after 5.30pm.
